Projects to Start in the Near Future
At Shamim Afridi Welfare Organization (SAWO), we are committed to expanding our impact through transformational projects that address critical community needs. Here’s a look at our upcoming initiatives that will provide healthcare, education, food security, and livelihood support to underserved communities in Pakistan.
Free Medical Camps
We aim to bring healthcare to those who need it most by organizing regular health check-ups in rural and underserved areas. These camps will provide free medicines, screenings, and basic treatments for people who cannot afford healthcare.
Mobile Health Units
To reach remote villages and underserved regions of KPK, we will deploy fully-equipped mobile clinics offering maternal care, vaccinations, emergency aid, and essential treatments for families with no access to hospitals.
Education Support Program
Education is a pathway out of poverty. SAWO plans to establish free schools and scholarship programs for children from low-income families. We will also provide books, uniforms, and learning materials to support their academic journey.
Orphan & Widows Support
At Shamim Afridi Welfare Organization, we will create a safe haven for orphans and widows, providing them with financial aid, vocational training, and psychological support to help them regain stability and independence.
Food Distribution & Ration Support
No one should go to bed hungry. Our initiative will run a monthly ration distribution program for struggling families and set up community kitchens to provide free, nutritious meals to the needy.
Clean Water & Sanitation Project
Access to clean water is a basic human right. We will install water filtration plants in water-scarce areas and build hygiene facilities, including toilets and sanitation systems, to promote better public health.
Emergency & Disaster Relief
SAWO will be on the front lines of disaster response, providing urgent food, shelter, and medical aid to families affected by natural disasters. Temporary shelters will also be set up for displaced communities.
Vocational Training Centers
To empower widows and unemployed youth, we will offer skills training programs in fields like tailoring, IT, carpentry, and more. This initiative aims to help people gain financial independence and self-sufficiency.
